Care for the Caregiver

Frequently asked questions
What will therapy cost?
Therapy is an investment in yourself and all of your next chapters. The fee for your Intake appointment and subsequent 50-minute sessions is $150. Payment may be made in cash, by check, credit card or Venmo. These fees apply to individual and couples counseling, parent coaching, and video conferencing only. If you think you qualify for a discounted fee, or for information regarding all other services, please contact me directly.
Is therapy covered by my insurance?
As a senior clinician who has spent many years dealing with insurance companies, I now work strictly out-of-network. If you have a PPO plan, I can provide you with an insurance claim form to file for reimbursement. Since any reimbursement will come directly to you, please plan to pay for each session in full at the time of your visit.
How long will therapy take?
While each threshold situation is unique, you can expect to spend 8-12 sessions in solution-focused or parent coaching work. In depth personal growth work, trauma resolution, chronic patterns, and generational issues may require a year or more of therapy.
What about missed appointments or cancellations?
Your appointment time is reserved for you and you alone. If you need to cancel and reschedule, kindly give at least 24 hours notice to avoid being charged the full fee. Missed appointments are billed at the rate of a 50-minute session.
